Designing A Thermodynamics Experiment
The final design was very simple. It consisted of a stainless steel tank and a tank cover that we made out of a piece of carton. All of the equipments that were used (thermometer, pump, heater, inlet and outlet pipes) had it place on the cover Equipment Limitations: The equipments we used had the following restrictions on its usage: I. For the pump: 1. The maximum pressure for the pump is 40psi and the normal operation …showed first 75 words of 1545 total…

In order to solve this problem I recommend getting a mixer that would help mixing the solution and as a result of that heat will be distributed evenly on the system. Another good thing to remember is the shaft work introduced by the pump does not equal to the power supplied to the pump because there are some power lost due to heat and fluid friction inside the motor of the pump.
