There are three main points that Aristotle is trying to make. He tells us what he thinks the good is, what he thinks happiness is, and what virtue is. I think he will then go on to explain why it is virtuous to take the lesser of these evils. So far Aristotle has talked about what the good, happiness, and virtue is. He will probably further analyze each of these, and explain how to obtain them in the best way so society as a whole will benefit.
