Julia’s designs were different from anyone else's, but her designs helped convince people that gender shouldn’t make any difference when it comes to hiring an architect. She worked hard all her life, and we are very lucky to live in an area where we can visit and study the buildings she helped create.
Julia Morgan once said “my buildings will be my legacy ... they will speak for me long after I’m gone.”
