Women today have come a long way by gaining equal rights. Virginia Woolf’s words, “It
would have been impossible, completely and entirely, for any woman to have written the plays
of Shakespeare in the age of Shakespeare” (1), demonstrate women’s rights of the past and
present and how they have changed. Around Shakespeare’s time, girls were told to stay at home
