I agree that it is an unfortunate circumstance that these innocent bats may have to die, but if they do not, the city of Melbourne will be without one of its most beautiful landmarks. Most importantly, future generations will not have the pleasure of visualizing first hand, a peace of history that has at one time or another, held a special place in every Australian’s heart.
