He always managed to please everyone slightly, instead of favouring a group of individuals. He never forced anyone to fight, and still aided Britain in the Boer War. He created a group to solve international affairs and tried to lower tariffs between Canada and America. Wilfred Laurier was a great Prime Minister, and a most memorable one.
