also possibilities. Film has the ability to use such things as lighting, sound, and music to its advantage over novels, which obviously cannot use these devices. However novel on the other hand has other possibilities which film does not have; the ability to use descriptive language, emotive word choice, and other such techniques. Also when translated into the film medium, the text loses many small details which can ultimately affect the quality of the film.
