documentary made me feel somewhat ashamed of our ancestors. How could they have treated a fellow man the way they did? What gave them the right to decide that the Cherokee people would not mind being displaced from their homeland? Granted I didn’t live in that time, so I don’t have a clear understanding of the actual happenings, but I was definitely convinced by the documentary of how things actually were.
