The Parthenon
23/8/2064 On the Acropolis of Athens, I discovered the Parthenon: one of the greatest Ancient buildings that have survived.
The temple was built between 447-438. Only the ruins is standing today because of the Turks in 1687 stored tons of gunpowder in the temple but accidentally was shot by a near by cannon. The rest of the remaining items were given to the British Ruler, Lord Elgin as gifts from the Turks. These collections are

The Parthenon was found on the hilltop of the Athens’s Acropolis. It was built on the hill because the ancient Greeks thought that they should be all under the eyes of their Gods and Goddess. The Chiton and the helmet might have been belonged to a married couple and have stored their clothing among other treasures.
