After going to see the recently released Hollywood version of the story of “Blackhawk Down” I was compelled to watch a History Channel documentary on the event, to gain insight and confirm the accuracy of Hollywood’s take. It was rather graphic, which I felt was valuable to tell the story, but some may have found it disturbing or offensive. I would recommend this video to anyone interested in the event that would not be offended by the violent content. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give the History Channel’s documentary of “Blackhawk Down” a solid 9.
