In “The Tree or Red Stars” and “The Quick and the Dead there are many recurring themes and ideas that make the stories similar. Yet, each author had a way of relating these topics to the main characters, in their stories, that made them different. There were ideas such as politics, society and personal ideals that were confronted. …showed last 75 words of 1519 total…to real because of things that happened or how people talked. The similarities in the stories was quite appealing. There was a fascination that both stories had three main characters that were girls. Also, they swinged on the same ideas and themes. The authors ability to write so differently was a great reason to compare and contrast these books. Yet, I still stand on the grounds that both stories were terrible and quite annoying altogether.
