EXAMINING THE LAYOUT OF LINCOLN’S ADVERTISEMENT While reading a magazine, I noticed an advertisement for the new Lincoln LS. The layout of the ad was appealing. It seemed to have the fundamental elements of an effective layout. It displayed balance, proportion, movement, unity, and clarity, while emphasizing Lincoln’s latest luxury sedan. It was a very flowing advertisement and the layout was done well. The artist combined all of the elements for an effective layout. The combination was done in moderation so the ad would avoid becoming too complicated. It is easy to read and very persuasive. It is an excellent example of an effective advertisement.
