Alcoholism, it is estimated that two out of five Americans will be involved in an alcohol-related accident at some time during their lives. Since alcohol impairs motor skills, reaction time, depth perception, and judgment a person under the influence of alcohol is unable to properly maneuver a vehicle. And because of the loss of judgment and inhibition the person is more likely to sit in the driver’s seat even though it is not safe.
