Growing up in Harlem was not easy for either brother. Sonny became prone to many of Harlems specialties. He began the game of drug addiction and living his life on the edgeEas some would call it. These occurrences caused Sonny to tare away from his brother. The narrator tried his best to love and bolster him but unfortantely Sonny thought he didnt need protection from his older brother, let alone anything else.
