think that Tim Burton’s remake of “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” is a very good representation of the original story by Washington Irving. If Irving was still alive and could have seen this movie, I think he would agree. Furthermore, the way Tim Burton uses his gothic background in this movie, gives it the extra realism needed to put the audience in the middle of the town starring face to face with the Headless
