SHAKESPEARE’S “HAMLET”

“Hamlet”, one of William Shakespeare’s greatest plays was written around the 1600’s. In those days, theatres and plays were hard to come by for the poor people and the rich always mocked the actors. Women were not allowed to act, so if they needed someone to play women’s part they would have to find a boy whose voice had not changed.

The other clue is the theater life. Women couldn’t act back then and these days they can.
Hamlet was and still is a significant play. When people read it today it opens their eyes and their minds. When Shakespeare wrote he opened your imagination to the character and the theme by writing them in detail. I enjoyed reading “Hamlet”, it was very exciting. I hope that the next reader thinks the same.
