While Christopher Marlowe’s poem is a more heart felt poem expressing love to a woman, and trying to win her over, Andrew Marvell most likely does not love this woman that much. He tells her he loves her but at the same time speaks as though he only is interested in sex. However, both men give a noteworthy effort to win over the women using bribes, and trickery of sorts.
