Revenge in Hamlet
In William Shakespeare’s Hamlet revenge plays a large role in the development of Fortinbras, Laertes, and Hamlet. These three men are all looking to avenge their father’s deaths. Although each of them vow to seek revenge, their individual methods and ideologies differ. Their decisions, and ultimately their fate, are also influenced by the ideas of others. With an underlining emphasis on honor Fortinbras, Laertes and Hamlet all strive towards one common goal.
