Queen Elizabeth I
Elizabeth I was born in 1533 and ruled England and Ireland as queen from
1558 until her death in 1603. Elizabeth was the daughter of Henry VIII and Anne
Boleyn, Henry’s second wife. Elizabeth was the longest-reigning English monarch
in nearly two centuries and the first woman to successfully occupy the English
