The Pain of Loneliness
To gain emotional stability, there is only one thing in life that is needed and that is friends. Without friends, people would suffer from loneliness. Crooks, Candy and Curley’s wife all suffer with loneliness and isolation. They learn to deal with their loneliness through their interest in Lennie and George’s friendship.
