In ancient times, the people living along the banks of the river Nile developed sophisticated civilizations. Ancient Egypt, stretching from the First Cataract to the Mediterranean Sea, is probably the most well known ancient culture in this area, and this group of people were called the Nubians. The Nubian's inhabited the area along the river Nile from the First Cataract south to the Sixth Cataract.

In conclusion I say that the Nubia was one of the advanced society in its time. Even though it doesn’t exist anymore, it still is an important place to the world even now. The reason I believe this is because many of the cultures emerged from Nubia. For example, the Greeks believed that Nubia was the land of gods, and many other cultures had their own beliefs about Nubia.
