Artist of the Month:
Norah Jones
I find it remarkable that Norah Jones, a piano-playing, female, jazz musician, with soft, romantic, feel-good lyrics, could, in this day and age, rack up 5 Grammys, including best album of the year, record of the year and song of the year. No one thought that sweet Norah would be able to compete with the 4 million plus album sales attributed in 2002 to big-timers such as Nelly, Avril Lavigne, and Eminem.

for eight trophies overall. Truly unbelievable!
Norah Jones is not someone who will come and go, like many of these manufactured artists. She is a skilled singer/songwriter with the majestic ability to play the piano. When you’re on the record label Blue Note, a jazz label, and still selling 6 million plus album sales, responsible for 8 Grammy awards, and holding the No. 1 spot on the Billboard chart, you got to be doing something right.
