Websites www.refuseandresist.org and www.amnestyinternational.org both tell of many instances of such events. On August 17, 2001, Federal District Judge William H. Yohn repealed the ruling of the death penalty on Mumia Abu-Jamal, but Abu-Jamal still remains incarcerated. The fight to free Abu-Jamal continues on. It will take the co-operation of people everywhere, on both local and national levels, to finally set him free.
