Pollution exists in many forms and affects many different aspects of Earth's environment. The extensions of cities and towns have become necessary to accommodate the increasing population, and in the process of this extension, many of the land’s forests have to be cut down. This action leads to many severe problems involving the environment, such as acid rain and excessive carbon dioxide production.
