World War II was coming to a close and the only thing left for the American army to accomplish was the complete surrender of Japan. The U.S. thought the A-bomb would put a quick and easy end to the war. But was the dropping of the bomb really necessary? Should the bomb have been dropped and was it really necessary, No. The dropping of the A-bomb should never have taken place. The killing of innocent people is such a horrific, and immoral act that is should never have token place. There never will be any way to justify this act. The end can never justify the means.
