In addition to Hamlet’s internal conflict, he shows us that external problems also contribute to Hamlet’s flaw of judgment. Since Claudius is an externally robust figure because he is the King of Denmark, Hamlet’s actions are delayed and faces enormous difficulties in scheming against him.
