His claims of love, and his horrible reaction to her rejection prove his love. Although William Shakespeare may not have made it clear, I feel that Hamlet’s love for Ophelia was true. With all the unanswered questions in William Shakespeare’s work, we may never know if he loved her, or loved her not.
