Explorations In Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein we are presented with characters of many types. Some of the characters we face in the story seem to be exploring or searching for something. There seems to be two main explorers that readers focus on, however they seem to overlook the most obvious explorer of all the characters, Frankenstein’s monster. His high hopes of man would only set him up for failure in the future. After a few more failed attempts at acceptance the monster is soon reunited with the only man he was truly seeking acceptance from, his father Frankenstein. To bad for the monster he was to late and the doctor was already dead.
