Courage In War
Courage in war is a very difficult phrase to attach a simple definition to. As far as I am concerned, it describes an emotion or feeling of fear and bravery in the mind, heart and soul of soldiers. Many opinions exist on what courage in war really is. In the following, I will attempt to define it.

As can clearly be seen, there are many different opinions on courage in war. I don’t know that any of these authors provide the correct definition of what courage in war really is, but it is in my opinion that courage in war is all of these things. Courage in war is courage that is: acquired, collective, in defense of honor, instant madness, and very risky business in a time of war.
