Using their acting backgrounds, and the direction of Zepherelli and Branagh, each successfully portrayed Ophelia. By using splendid segments of each film, the character of Ophelia would probably be illustrated up to the standards of Shakespeare's original view of Ophelia. Kate Winslet and Helen Bonham Carter are indeed talented actresses and each differently depicts the character of Ophelia in William Shakespeare's Hamlet.
