It is difficult to compare “Gilgamesh” with any creation myth, but the one that comes closest to it would be “Genesis.” It is almost seems as if the stories were cut away from each other. Both have very many similarities.
The most blatant similarity is the major flood in both stories. Each flood is global and causes the whole world to be drowned. Yet, there are differences to the floods in the stories. In “Genesis”

As you can see both stories have similar trails in them but are completely different when it comes to the story line. It is difficult to take the same life lessons, as presented in both “Gilgamesh” and “Genesis” and change them to be stories not so similar. Yet, different interpretation yield different stories.
