When the people from Spain arrived in Hispaniola, they arrested Columbus and took him back to Spain in chains. A while later he cleared himself from jail and set sail on his fourth and final voyage. On the day of May 20, 1506 Columbus passed away in Valladolid, a city in Spain. Unfortunately to this day no one knows exactly where Columbus is buried.
