Objectives: The objectives of this experiment included an introduction to basic laboratory techniques by getting acquainted with the Bunsen burner, balance, and pipette. We then found the mass of the water and unknown liquid by weighing it on the balance and subtracting the mass of the beaker and the volume by the scale on the graduated cylinder.
