Many people look back at the twentieth century and feel that Canada did pretty well. Canada was voted best place to live several times and made an international name for itself in peace keeping. These people tend to forget the many problems Canada suffered during the twentieth century. have been treated wrongly. With all these problems, it is certain that if a list were made up of the countries that thrived the most during the twentieth century Canada would be at the bottom of it. Maybe if things were done differently and we respected people of all cultures, the results on this list would be different. But things were not done differently and this is why the twentieth century was not Canada’s.
