Space exploration is not only important but absolutely necessary. Think, would we be where we are now if it was not for the many space excursions. Would we still have our beloved satellite TVs and somewhat accurate weather forecast? No. To continue this world's advance in technology, humans must continue with space exploration. Pointless? I think not!
