…showed last 75 words of 936 total…for the country because of drastic differences from pre-civil war times. The novel does not give a negative connotation to civil rights, children. Furthermore it does not make a mockery of our constitution for it is Thomas Jefferson who said, "I am opposed to any form of tyranny over the mind of man." It is merely, like why many are forced to take history, a caution. (Relation to what happens in the past may reoccur.)
