Anthrax is a disease that can be traced back to Egyptian times, the disease itself in most cases is fatal, and in the future terrorist’s attacks, involving anthrax are highly probable.
To begin Anthrax itself is an acute infectious disease caused by spore-forming bacterium called Bacillus anthracis. These anthrax spores are known to survive for decades

The effects of Anthrax if released upon a population of people are devastating. 100 kg of anthrax spores when released aerosolized in Washington DC by aircraft would, have the same affect as a hydrogen bomb, if not greater. The death toll would be nearly 3 million people. To put it in very simple terms, a five pound bag of Anthrax could wipe out half of Washington DC.
