Looking at like as a whole there are thousands of ethical questions that could be addressed and studied in this paper; I chose one that has always held an interest to me throughout my life. My ethical question has to be “is animal testing ethically right or just a necessity of human survival?” There are so many issues within this one topic that ten pages would never be enough room to cover it all. each side of this argument and after looking at Dewey’s model and have come to the conclusion that animal testing can only be a good thing if used within the guidelines of the Animal Welfare Act. The people who set up these guidelines have studied and looked at the ideas and principals guiding animal testing and it’s implications on society as a whole, insuring the legitimacy and continuation of a beneficial testing environment.
