The characters in this tragedy have very specific role that compliment or contrast against the other characters involved. Seneca succeeded in portraying the emotional battles involved in plotting revenge and being a victim of those plots. In my analysis of this play I have found that Seneca proves what horrible things the human mind can be capable of.
