He punished them for what they had done, and prevented them from becoming more like Him, but he did not leave them altogether. Before sending them away, “the Lord God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins, and clothed them” (Genesis 3:21). God changed His plan of action, and sent Adam and Eve, clothed, into the world.
