taking a trip down south to aid her sick and dying grandmother, with the company

facing it. It is important for Helene to remember her past because you should
never forget where you came from no matter how bad things are or have been. I
commend Toni Morrison for her story because she obviously writes on
experience, and tells it to inform the reader of the past and to leave the message:
